Terms and Conditions between Candidates and Careers in the UK.
“Careers in the UK”: means Careers in the UK (www.careersintheuk.co.uk is a Website of IBBI Ltd), 63 Chapel Field, Great Barford, Bedfordshire, MK44 3JT.
“The Candidate”: The person using this site for career related purposes.
“The Employer”: The person using this site for recruitment purposes.
1. General disclaimer of liability for content
1.1 Careers in the UK is providing this site on an ‘as is’ basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties. In addition, Careers in the UK makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in this site. The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of Careers in the UK howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
1.2 Neither Careers in the UK nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

2.1 Careers in the UK will permit the Candidate and Employer to access, use and interact with our site subject to these terms and conditions.

4. The use of information
4.2 The Candidate is liable be contacted by the Employer without intervention from Careers in the UK.
4.3 Employers may only use information supplied by us for the purposes of recruiting and shall not disclose any information to any third parties other than those directly related to the recruitment process of the candidate.
4.4 Any party using this service for any purpose other than those specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions shall immediately be banned from using this site.
4.5 Calls may be recorded for staff training purposes.
5. Enhanced Candidate Profile
5.1 We do not guarantee that by subscribing to an enhanced profile you will secure a job. This is simply a tool that will enhance your visibility to recruiters and employers and enable you to apply to jobs by email sooner.
5.2 We do not store your credit/debit card details. Payments are one-off payments and are not recurring.
5.3 For the avoidance of doubt, purchase of the enhanced candidate profile is optional, and you may search and apply to jobs on www.CareersintheUK.co.uk upon completion of your online CV at no charge.
6. Discrimination Policy
6.1 Careers in the UK does not discriminate against anyone registered to or using the Careers in the UK website. We try to ensure that all possible measures are taken to prevent any vacancies advertised or searches do not discriminate against age, disabilities, gender or race. The search tools in place on the site do not have the functionality to exclude any candidates with disabilities. It is down to the users themselves to ensure they comply with discrimination laws.
