Temporary Press Officer – Bedford

Swim recruitment are looking for a Press Officer to join their team on a short interim assignment based in Bedford. It is a full-time role for approximately 4 weeks, based at Priory House, Chicksands.
Your job purpose: * To provide communication support and guidance to the council. * To effectively promote the policies and services of Central Bedfordshire Council through a variety of media to residents, businesses, partner organisations and wider audiences both locally, regionally and nationally. * To provide an efficient media relations service with particular regard to the Social Care, Health and Housing Directorate and to assist other Directorates when necessary.
