The Sales Department is critical to the GB & Ireland Business driving revenue, value and volume in Uprights, Cylinders, Cordless and Environmental Control. The Sales team require a Sales Co-ordinator to support the team in the day to day operation of the department.

This is what we need you to do…

1. Manage routine administration for GB Sales Director and the wider Sales Team:
o Own and manage the raising of PO’s from the Field and Account teams as required.
o Arrange all flight, car and accommodation requests for GB Sales Director, Sales management and generally for departmental meetings
o Order stationary as required for the Sales Department
o Direct all incoming calls as required to the Sales Department
o Ensure all necessary paperwork is ready for Sales meetings
o Take minutes and manage follow up of action points from Sales management meetings
o Complete expenses each month for GB Sales Director

2. Organise and plan for all Sales functions and department meetings
o Coordinate sales meetings (including National Sales bi-annual events, quarterly A/C Managers meetings, field sales monthly meetings)
o Take minutes and actions in all Sales & Marketing Account Manager Meetings/field sales meetings
o Lead all internal communications for sales meetings and conferences
o Source and book appropriate venues as necessary

3. Support the Field Sales team by providing specific administration support on SFE and daily communication
o Deal with SFE queries from RDM for PDA problem solving perspective
o RDM new starter support for equipment
o Updating of customer marketing POS on SFE
o Update the retailer database
o Adhoc reporting on SFE e.g. time in store reports
o Communicate any messages to the field team as required

4. Provide secretarial support for the Sales Director
o Proactively organise and manage the diary of GB Sales Director and other members of the sales management team required
o Liaise with customers PA’s to arrange meeting dates between Dyson customers, GB Sales Director, Sales Management Team and other attendees
o Co-ordinate all internal and external, group team and client meetings, including booking internal and external venues, facilities, refreshments etc
o Prepare Powerpoint presentations
o Proactively manage in-tray, daily post and emails for where required
o Pick up diverted phone calls and take/pass on messages

5. Fulfill other duties as required
o Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
o Support holiday and absence cover for other PA duties in GB&I
o Fix things that you can see need fixing
o Identify problems and find solutions.

This is what we need you to have…

Experience
- Experience in working as a PA / admin support in a large organisation
- Experience working at senior management/Managing Director level
- Event management experience
- Excellent diary management skills

- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- An excellent communicator, able to adapt style to all levels of the business
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
